A Bit About Me
Hi, I’m Katie – though my real name is Kasia.
I was born in Poland, but life brought me to the UK over 15 years ago. Now, somewhere between Sussex skies and Scottish mountains I found my true home – behind the camera.
I didn’t plan to become a photographer. In fact, I spent years not really knowing what my true passion was – until one day I picked up a camera and suddenly… everything made sense.
​I never studied photography, and I’m proud of that. I learned it my way – through patience, persistence and emotion. I never wanted to simply take pictures. I wanted to feel them. To freeze moments that would otherwise disappear. To hold onto the light, the wind, the silence, the truth.
Photography didn’t just become a hobby.
It became my escape. My therapy. My freedom.
A reminder that the world is full of beauty – even when life gets heavy.

In the last few years, my journey led me to solo road trips across the UK, especially into the wild heart of Scotland. There’s something magical about being alone on a quiet road at sunrise, with mountains ahead and no limits except the horizon. Traveling solo taught me courage. It taught me that being alone doesn’t mean being lonely – it means being brave enough to live life your own way.

A big part of my story now is my drone. It opened the sky for me – a new way to see the world from above. It reminds me that there are always new perspectives waiting if we dare to look beyond the obvious. On my social media, you’ll now find not only photos but also films – little emotional stories filmed from the air and from the soul.
I photograph landscapes, families, weddings and real life moments – but what I truly capture is emotion. I want people to look at my photos and feel something.

People sometimes tell me my photos make them feel calm… or inspired… or nostalgic… and that, for me, means more than any award ever could. Because if my work can touch even one heart, then it already has a purpose.
I travel alone, but I never feel lonely. The road has become my teacher. The wind has become my friend. And the sunrise always reminds me that every day is a new chance to begin again. Maybe one day someone will join me on these crazy road trip adventures – someone who understands that life is not about waiting for the perfect moment, but about creating it together.
Someone who believes in deep conversations, starry skies, genuine hearts and shared silence. Someone who loves laughter, honesty and simple joys – a cup of coffee by the ocean, bare feet in the sand, headlights on an empty road at night.
